Accessibility Statement
Last updated July 2026
BioPure Labs (“BioPure”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want everyone who visits our site to be able to find information, browse our products, and complete a purchase with ease, regardless of the technology or abilities they rely on.
Our commitment
Accessibility is part of how we think about building and maintaining our website. We view an accessible experience not as a one-time project but as an ongoing responsibility, and we work to consider the needs of people with a range of abilities — including those relating to vision, hearing, mobility, and cognition — as we design, develop, and update the site.
As a Canadian company operating in Ontario, we also recognize our responsibilities under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Information and Communications Standards, which reference the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as the benchmark for accessible web content.
The standard we aim for
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), are the internationally recognized standard for making digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with disabilities. Level AA is the conformance level referenced by the AODA for public-facing web content.
Conformance with a standard like WCAG is measured across many individual success criteria and can vary from page to page and over time as content changes. For that reason, we describe WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the target we work toward and measure ourselves against, rather than as a fixed guarantee that every page fully meets every criterion at all times.
Measures we take
To support an accessible experience, we take steps that include, among others:
- Using clear, structured headings and semantic markup so pages are easier to navigate and understand.
- Aiming for sufficient colour contrast between text and its background, and avoiding conveying information by colour alone.
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images so their content is available to screen-reader users.
- Supporting keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators for people who do not use a mouse.
- Labelling forms and interactive controls so they are announced clearly by assistive technology.
- Designing responsive, resizable layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and larger text settings.
- Considering accessibility as part of our design and development process, rather than only after the fact.
Assistive-technology compatibility
We aim for our website to work with common assistive technologies and current versions of widely used browsers. This includes screen readers, screen magnification, keyboard-only navigation, and browser and operating-system settings for adjusting text size, contrast, and zoom.
Because assistive technologies and browsers vary widely and are updated frequently, your experience may differ depending on the specific combination of tools you use. If you encounter a barrier with a particular setup, letting us know the assistive technology, browser, and device you were using helps us investigate and improve.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible. Limitations can arise from third-party content or services embedded in the site, older content that has not yet been updated, or features that are still being improved. Where we identify a barrier, we prioritize addressing it as part of our ongoing work.
If you come across content or a feature that is difficult to use, we would like to hear about it. Your feedback helps us find issues we may not have caught and improve the experience for everyone.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continue to review our website, learn from the feedback we receive, and make improvements over time. As we add new content and features, we work to apply the same accessibility standards described here, and we update this statement as our practices evolve.
Feedback and requesting an accessible alternative
If you experience any difficulty accessing part of our website, or if you would like information or a product offered in an alternative, accessible format, please let us know. We welcome your feedback and will do our best to help — including providing the information you need through another reasonable means where appropriate.
You can reach us through our Contact page, or directly:
- Email: [accessibility email to be confirmed]
- Phone: [accessibility phone number to be confirmed]
When you contact us, it helps to include a description of the issue, the web address (URL) of the page involved, and — if relevant — the browser, device, and any assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within [target response time to be confirmed, e.g. 5 business days].
Changes to this statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes to our website, our practices, or applicable standards. The most current version will always be available on this page.
